Vegas Playoffs 2011

Below are the tournament boards for the Vegas Playoffs this year on June 25th and 26th. Make sure you know what time your team is playing their first round. Make sure you pay attention to the team number as well because some teams may have the SAME NAME but you will ALL have different team numbers. The 9-ball board has become a little more involved but make sure you read the keys for each board. Don't make a mistake for your team.

We can't stress this enough, make sure you read upper level play and know the rules for your team before you go out to the tournament. We have the Official Team Manual and our Local Bylaws here on the website for you to reference to if you need to.

Some key things to remember...

    • When it comes to the tournament, a member will shoot at his/her highest END OF SESSION skill level from the time the team qualified. Remember, the player may be on another team that qualified before yours did. If this is the case and he/she finished off at a higher skill level with that team before yours qualified, that skill level will be carried forward.

    • Your team had to maintain at least 4 original qualified members each session after you qualified in order to stay qualified.

    • Your end of Spring session roster is the roster which is used for the tournament. This means that any changes you have now in the current Summer session will not appear on your team for the tournament. If you added a player this Summer session, he/she CAN NOT play in the tournament. If you have a member that was on the end of Spring session team who met all the requirements to shoot in the event but is NOT on your Summer session roster, he/she CAN still play in the tournament.

    • For a member to play in the tournament, he/she must have shot at least 4 matches and have had at least 10 total matches for their career by the end of the Spring session.

    • If you had a new player added to your team in the Spring session and you qualified in the Summer or Fall session, you must read the section about adding members to a qualified team in the Official Team Manual.

We don't want teams to be surprised when they get to the tournament. These are some of the key rules for the tournament which every captain should know going into this event. If you don't take the time to read about them in the Official Team Manual and our Local Bylaws. Don't drop the ball on this.

Don't forget, the meeting for the captians is going to be 30 minutes before your first round starts. We will be starting at that time whether you are there or not. If the captain can't go, send someone else from the team who can. If you aren't there when we start, this will be YOUR fault. We will not restart the meeting for people who come in late. We will be very strict on time issues this year.

This is your responsibility so don't drop the ball for your team!
